Background
Hare Store Studio is the antidote to my corporate career.
While I’ve enjoyed my time with clients and customers, in reality, I’m much happier ankle deep in sawdust, designing, building and restoring furniture,
From heirloom furniture, to a new chopping board, if its made of wood (or can be made of wood), then I’m happy to take it on.
what do i build?
Over the years, the workshop has transformed from a small garage with a few basic hand-tools, to a functional wood workspace, with machinery capable of supporting large joinery projects and cabinetry through to small whittled cutlery,
I typically take on one-off custom furniture builds or restoration projects and offer a ‘design to delivery’ service. This will usually include an installation day where your furniture will be delivered personally, and assembled.
Products
From time to time, when the workshop is quieter, I occasionally have capacity to build several ‘stock’ products that are available for sale in the shop.
These are given the same careful attention as one off pieces, however with standard templates, they are easier to build multiple of, and come in at a lower price point from something bespoke.
