designed with you,
for you
We design and build custom furniture.
Our design ethos, is subtly bold.
Typically this means that while your chair, table or cabinet will still look and function like a chair, table or cabinet, there will be elements that get people talking,
It’s important that you are part of the design process, we work in collaboration with you to craft something you’ll love.
We only build pieces we’d be proud to have in our home.
MEET the maker
Oliver describes woodwork & furniture design as the antidote to his corporate career.
After more than 20 years in office environments, he stepped away from screens and systems towards a more practical, meaningful endeavour — embracing tradition, respect for materials and patience.
Harestone Studio grew from a simple desire to make objects that feel purposeful and lasting — furniture that carries the marks of honest work, improves with age, and exists to be used and admired in equal measure.
At the heart of the studio is a belief in thoughtful, collaborative design, sound construction and sustainable materials. Every piece is made to work hard in daily life, to be repairable rather than disposable, and to earn character over time.
The aim is not perfection, but clarity, integrity and longevity — furniture that feels settled, useful and quietly bold.
